NAET Q & A

What happens on the first visit?
During your first appointment, the practitioner will chat with the client to hear what concerns and ailments will need to be addressed.  The practitioner will use muscle response testing to verify what allergens the body may be sensitive to and/or to narrow down the parameters. A plan of action will be discussed and tailored to you based on your individual needs and allergen intensities.  Typically in the initial consult, one treatment is done during your session time.

What does a treatment look like?
You will lay down on a massage bed and relax.  The practitioner may do muscle response testing by having you raise and arm and gently press down while having you resist.  (If you are unable or are too young (under 5), a surrogate may be used to test.  Based on the findings, you may be asked to hold a vial while a gentle vibrational tool is used on wrists, spine & ankles.

What is in the vials?
Most vials contain an energy signature of something.  For example, if you had a cat and a cat allergy, the practitioner may ask you to bring in a sample of your cat dander (dust and fur) so we can use the energy of the dander to essentially create an energetic antidote so the body is less reactive the next time you come in contact with that allergen.

Is this ok for kids?
Absolutely! Kids usually respond really well during treatments!

How soon can I come back?
After each treatment, it’s suggested that you avoid the allergen treated for 25 hours.  So it’s best to have 25 hours between treatments to allow your body time to adjust.

I’ve heard about the basic 15.  Do you require treatment of those typical allergens first?
The basic 15 are a selection of typical allergens that are suggested everyone get treated to bring the body into balance (this series can assist to make sure we are processing minerals & vitamins correctly as well as assist in balancing our nervous system).  The theory is that the allergy correction will hold longer if done with the body in balance.  Our practitioner will muscle test which items are necessary to complete treatment.
